A guide to discovering yourself through meditative art: Thangka Painting

Thangka painting is a traditional Tibetan art that dates back more than 2,000 years. This sacred art is characterized by its detailed and symbolic representations of Buddhist deities, mandalas, religious scenes and spiritual teachings. Thangkas are often used as tools of meditation and instruction, serving as a visual support for spiritual practice and as a way to convey the iconography of Vajrayana Buddhism.
